From there, you will continue to the heart, where a country of great moraines, peaceful glacial lakes, and towering peaks welcomes you. The floor of this valley was incredibly beautiful, carved by the Hinku River and all. The most spectacular views are on the east side of the river, following a path along the embankment, which gives you scale not only of the valley, but also of its mountains.
Zatrwa La Pass: Into the New World

Khare: Gateway to the Glaciers

You’ll reach here, the top place for a photo and to marvel at the complete vastness of the land.
Mera High Camp: Under the stars to sleep
Mera High Camp is your final destination before you attempt to summit Mera Peak, and one of the most beautiful spots on this trek. Standing on a rock platform on a rise at more than 5,700 meters, the view from here is something that has to be seen. The perspectives of the surrounding ridges from camp are truly spectacular, featuring awesome close-up views of the massive south faces of Lhotse and Nuptse. If you are lucky, there will be a clear night here, and the stargazing from Mera High Camp is awesome; as much of the Milky Way can be seen in all its splendour. And there in camp is where the magic of visual experiences happens, rivals anything on that summit, and time to reflect upon what you just did.
